Curious about InBody scans? Click here for a brief video showing an overview of the scan process.
What is it?
InBody scans are a quick (under 60 seconds), non-invasive, and painless way to learn more about your body’s composition using bio electrical impedance analysis (BIA). The scan measures factors such as muscle, water, and other elements to provide a snapshot of your unique body makeup. This information can help you better understand your body and support your personal health and wellness goals, whatever they may be.

Results can be impacted by change in routines, body temperature, body position, eating, drinking, or working out immediately prior to scan. Make sure to review the “InBody Precautionary Steps” video before scheduling scan. A link to this website will also be included in your appointment confirmation email.
- If you are menstruating during your scheduled scan, please reschedule. Hormonal changes can affect body water levels and skew results.
- We do not perform InBody scans on pregnant clients for safety reasons.
- People with artificial electrical implants such as a defibrillator or pacemaker should not be tested. The electrical currents of the InBody may disrupt the functionality of life-sustaining implants.
- If you have implants or devices (e.g.,insulin pump, metal or breast implants), please consult your coach beforehand for medical clearance.

Disclaimer: An InBody scan includes data related to body composition including weight, body fat, muscle mass, nutrition indicators, and other topics that may be sensitive or triggering for some individuals. We encourage you to participate only if this aligns with your personal wellness and well-being goals. Please feel free to reach out for more information or if you have any questions.
Your results will be reviewed during your scheduled appointment. Key areas covered include body composition, muscle and fat distribution, percent body fat, and segmented lean analysis. You can view a sample InBody Results Sheet and interpretation on the InBody website. Please note: these results represent a single snapshot and do not define overall health. They are best used as one tool among many to support your personal wellness and well-being goals. Tracking changes over time can help you notice patterns and make informed choices that feel right for you.
