Rocket League Tournament

General Rules:

  • Is taking place on Monday, February 15th 7pm, players should be on discord and Rocket League for 6:45.
  • This is a 1v1 double elimination tournament. This means that even after your first loss you are still in the Tournament!!!!!
  • Matches will be 5 minutes and it will be a best of 5 (First to Three wins advances).
  • The Arenas must be set to Randomized Standard Only
  • Players must sign up using the posted Google Sheets in the Sign ups page on the Discord. Please make sure you add your Epic Id, YOU will be in charge of friending each other. Players will be responsible for setting up private lobbies in accordance with the rules.
  • Players must report their scores to the Day of Tournament Chat in Discord. This is important because if this doesn’t happen the bracket cannot continue.
  • It will be online, you can play anywhere you choose. There will not be a venue where all players compete in person ( Although that is a possibility for the future).
  • Cross Platform, PS4, PS5, Xbox 1, PC, anything goes.

  • The winner will have the potential opportunity to represent UVM in NIRSA’s Collegiate Rocket League Tournament 

General Flow of Tournament (What you have to do to compete)

  • Be Online RL and Discord at 6:45
  • At 7 the bracket will be created and the first round of matches will be announced.
  • Check to see who you are playing and friend them on RL
  • One of you will create the private lobby in accordance with the rules listed above (5 Minutes, best of 5, Randomized Standard…). Then the other will then join and the match will begin!!!
  • When a winner of the Match is decided please report the match score and winner to the Day of Tournament Chat in Discord.
  • The next Matches will be announced as they become available. Note that this is a double elim, you must lose twice before you are fully knocked out.
  • This pattern will continue until the Championship match is finished and a winner is crowned
