CATS ACROSS AMERICA (Virtual Run/Bike/Swim)

Join Campus Recreation and your fellow Catamounts on a virtual race across the country and maybe even circumnavigate the globe! You don't have to be on-campus to participate. Our goal is to interact with students, faculty, staff from wherever you are. If you can safely run, bike, or swim we want you to join in on the effort! Let's see how far our collective miles can get us TOGETHER.
Check back soon to see the map for a total distance all of the combined entries have traveled!

FAQ:
Do I have to be on campus to participate?
No, this is designed to incorporate the UVM community either on campus, at home, or overseas. If you can safely participate feel free to.

Who is verifying my mileage?
All results you enter are based on the honor system.

Curious how to track your swimming mileage?
For reference, Forbush Pool is 25 yards from end to end. 70 laps (wall to wall) equates to an approximate mile. 35 laps is 1/2 mile, 18 laps is 1/4 mile.

Are there prizes?
Yes! We will have prizes for top results in each category and a few wild card draws!

How can I track my results?
We will post a weekly leaderboard here each week and occasionally to our social media channels, follow @UVMCampusRec
