Top 5 Belt Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Make sure the module is charged - charge via USB on laptop and not wall port (only for MZ3 belts).
  2. Make sure the red strap is fit snug around the body. It shouldn't be loose.
  3. Try moistening the black sensors on the inside of the red strap to initiate the heart rate connection quicker.
  4. Try the module on another person - place the module on a different person's red strap or switch it out with a new strap. We want to see if it's the strap that's faulty or the module.
  5. Finally, try moving the module and belt to a different spot on the body. Slide the red strap and align the black module on the left side of the body (sometimes placing the module on the left back muscle is a better spot). Not everyone's sweet spot is right on the front of their body.

Tip: If you're troubleshooting an MZ1 belt model, try taking the battery out of the module and putting it back in as well as the above troubleshooting steps.
If you’ve tried all these steps, contact tech support through the app or online for assistance with further troubleshooting.

Warranty Period

Warranty period for the black module is one (1) year, the red strap is covered under a three (3) month warranty from the date your registered your belt.

Replacement Procedure

If a component of the belt (red strap or black module) proves faulty and you are within the warranty period, you can replace your strap at the Campus Rec Operations desk.
