University of Vermont Campus Recreation

Fall Semester, Winter Break, and Spring Semester Membership:

UVM students (full-time, part-time, and continuing education) receive a Campus Recreation membership from paying comprehensive student fees for the fall and spring semester. Students enrolled in Fall and Spring Semesters will continue to have a membership throughout winter break.

Summer Membership:

• Current UVM Students (enrolled in Spring 2025 and Fall 2025) have free access to Campus Recreation Facilities (Gucciardi Fitness Center, Open Rec, Open Swim, Drop-In Sports)
• Community Member/Recent Graduate Summer Membership options:
  • $12.00 day pass
  • $40.00 5-Visit Pass (for purchase in summer only)
  • $45.00 per month, plus $25.00 activation fee, monthly auto renew

UVM Faculty, Staff, Retirees

• Fully benefited UVM faculty, staff, and retirees receive facility membership through their comprehensive benefits package.
• Group fitness passes can be purchased here.
• Employee Wellness class information can be found here.

Community

• $45.00 per month,  plus $25.00 activation fee, monthly auto renew
• $40.00 5-Visit Pass (for purchase in summer only)
• $12.00 day pass

Includes access to: Gucciardi Fitness Center, Pool, Indoor Track/Courts, Gutterson Ice Rink, Squash Courts

• Activation Fee/Reactivation Fee:
  • Charged at time of account setup
  • Includes account setup and 1 RFID card
  • Reactivation Fee ($25.00) will apply following any lapse in membership.
    • $10 Lost Card Replacement Fee
• To cancel membership, written notice must be provided to Campus.Recreation@uvm.edu at least ten (10) business days prior to the next renewal/charge date. Membership will be active through the end of the current charge cycle.
• Alternatively, log into your online portal using this link to cancel. Please save your cancellation receipt. Email campus.recreation@uvm.edu with any questions.
• Once the monthly charge occurs, no refund/prorates will be given.
• Group Fitness and other programming are not included in Community Facility Membership pricing but are available for purchase; please see more information here.
• Guests under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present when signing up for a membership and may not use the Gucciardi Fitness Center.
• Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
